This morning, the demo workers are throwing rocks through the remaining windows - they are double-pane gas filled windows (for insulation) and are apparently prone to explode in the course of demolition if not shattered first.

This is one of the many places that city natives seldom seem to venture, but visiting relatives provided the perfect opportunity.

There's always a huge crowd and everyone is absolutely wrapped by the image of their own reflection. This must be this single most photographed object in all of Chicago.
